Objectifs

To realise & understand the minimal lever mid range manipulation concept including practical application & techniques. Participants will learn techniques for the Junctional areas of the spine & the lower extremities and treatment applications.

Formation

Présentation

Information on how the minimal lever approach is developed and targeted to spinal & extremity facets joints, Comfort, safety, specificity  efficiency & effectiveness will be discussed and applied for patients and the practitioner. Current information of effects of manipulation will be identified, Contra-indications and indications of manipulation will be discussed. Practical techniques will be demonstrated and then participants will practice on each other whilst the teacher observes and table tutors. Audio visual computer generated presentations will be used to help further explain and develop participants understanding.

Herbert Daryl

Daryl Herbert qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO), London in 1988. For the past twenty-five years Daryl has been teaching Advanced Spinal & Extremity Manipulation courses at osteopathic institutes all over the world. Daryl’s approach to teaching and courses come primarily from the many years he studied under and worked alongside Prof Laurie Hartmann and Daryl now teaches his own style, Minimal Lever Mid Range Manipulation. This is a style of manipulation that is accurate, safe, comfortable, efficient & extremely effective.

Participants need to be graduates of osteopathic training or final year students with a desire to learn Advanced manipulation Skills

Laurie Hartman's "Handbook of Osteopathic Technique. All information & handouts will be available at the course. Participants will also be able to purchase Daryl Herbert's Advanced Manipulation Videos at a discounted price whilst at the course.
